Our New House!

Whew, what a summer it has been! After over nine months, we are finally and officially all moved into our new home!

We had our housewarming party this past weekend, and it was so nice to finally get to show off the new place and know that we are DONE (ok *mostly* done) with projects. We got the keys almost exactly eight weeks ago and have been busting our butts since then, between painting the entire house ourselves, getting the yard done, decorating, and all my little projects it’s been a real whirlwind. One of the little blessings though in having so long between buying a house and actually moving in is we had so much time to plan out what we wanted for the space and buy things when they went on sale!

So without further ado, here are some photos of our new place!

(I will try and source some of the stuff, but I will also save myself some time and just tell you now that pretty much all of it is Target or Ikea, with some Wayfair sprinkled in hah!)

If I was in an episode of Cribs, I would say *this is where the magic happens* ha! Since Dustin and I both work from home we knew we needed not only a functional space but a pretty one!

Those glass french doors were a splurge, but I am SO happy we did it! It makes the room!

Pretty much all the furniture is from Ikea and the chairs are from Office Max.

Our little navy powder room! Maybe some day we will get around to doing a white, shiplap chair rail. Also featuring a photo I took in Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin!

My favorite room in the house, the kitchen! I was really worried about the white on white look but I love the way it makes this room look even more open and bright!

Pendants are from Home Depot and stools are from Target.

We really wanted a cool way to display our collection of travel mugs then I saw this cool rack on an episode of Fixer Upper once, and sure enough they sell it on Magnolia online!

All of the awesome signs were made by our friends at A Crafty Couple.

Probably two of my favorite decor items in the whole house!

I love love love this display of all our family photos as the main statement piece in our living room. The frames came in a set from Wayfair!

Chandelier is from Home Depot and basically everything else from Target (yes, including that adorable planter!)

Handmade barn door made by Dustin and his BFF Arnold! The track and hardware are all from Amazon.

Reagan’s big kid room! Maybe it’s just the mama in me, but it looks like a little preteens room to me! *Insert tears* She is obsessed with unicorns and rainbows (what 5 year old girl isn’t, right?)

Our little Rory’s room! She had a weird love for foxes so we made a little wildflower room with some hint of foxes!

The girls’ bathroom – again, loving the all white look that we chose! I just realized I didn’t get any photos of the tile in here, we did a rectangle grey, almost concrete look tile. I love the way it came out!

We also went base on all the light fixtures in bathrooms and swapped them out after we moved in to these ones pictured. They’re all from Wayfair!

Upstairs, outside the loft we did a shiplap backpack wall! Dustin and Arnold made it with some tongue and grove paneling from Home Depot and made it pretty easy actually! Then added a little picture ledge on top to display more family photos. Definitely my favorite project!

Then opposite of that, we used left over wood from the ledge and made a little art wall to display the kiddos art!

Well I hope you enjoyed that little look into our new house! Let me know your favorite part!

Awe, thank you so much!! You know I love my yellow 😉

That is the only one that isn’t, it’s from a different local sign maker – but I’m sure Crafty could do it also!

It looks amazing!! Love the shiplap. We are thinking about doing that to our master bedroom! I may need to know what exactly they did, it turned out beautiful!

Thank you so much!! It actually wasn’t too hard because we bought the pre-made tongue and grove stuff at Home Depot!
