Las Vegas Wedding at the Tropicana

Michelle and Kiel were married at the Tropicana on the strip in Las Vegas last week. These two have been together 8 years+ and met when Michelle moved to Chattanooga, TN. Kiel is from upstate New York and was in search of warmer weather, and Michelle wanted to get out of Arizona and experience life in a different part of the country. She joined a website for people new to the city, and met him!

Marriage conversations were few and far-between, never lasting more than a joke or avoided conversation. So when they planned a trip to Paris, then to Croatia, Michelle says she just thought they were going on vacation! Kiel said he would plan Paris, and she could plan Croatia.

After a 10-hour flight to Paris, completely exhausted and overwhelmed in a foreign city, they had about an hour to get ready for dinner. Kiel had plans to be at dinner by 7, but wanted to stop by a bridge to get a good view of the Eiffel Tower. It was raining, they were both tired, but they made it to the bridge. Kiel spotted a lady taking photos and asked her if she could take one of them. Little did Michelle know, Kiel had set her up as the secret photographer to capture the entire proposal! Michelle says, even with the rain, the proposal was perfect. They spent the next couple days in Paris, then went onto Croatia for the week!

Their wedding day totally reflected their fun-loving natures and their sense of adventure! What better place to have a huge wedding party than Vegas?! Their wedding was complete with Vegas show girls, a huge dance party, and confetti canons to top it all off!

This was such a special wedding for me to be a part of. Michelle and I go way back you see, over 10 years. My very best friend who passed away 7 years ago, was good friends with Michelle and introduced us back in college. I’ve watched her and Kiel’s relationship blossom over the years and was just so incredibly honored and thrilled to be a part of it all!

Without further ado, enjoy these fun photos!!
