Karin and Alex were married last weekend at Heritage Square in Downtown Phoenix!
These two met in college at ASU and bonded over their love of sports, movies, and traveling – they’ve been inseparable ever since!
They joke that the other love of Alex’s life is the Minnesota Vikings (hence the super cool purple jacket and inspiration for the wedding!), and he dreamed of proposing to Karin when the Vikings made it to the Super Bowl! Unfortunately that didn’t work out as planned, so he knew the next best thing was to pop the question while on a trip for their anniversary.
While exploring Boston, they passed by an ice skating rink. Alex is a terrible skater but agreed to go ice skating because Karin said how much fun it looked like. She says “We skated around for a bit (Alex clinging on to me for dear life) when he asked to stop by the wall for a minute. He handed me a sweet note and when I looked down he was on one knee.”
The used the word to describe themselves as “Team” and I couldn’t agree more. These two just have this lovely comfortability with each other and you can just tell they are the best of friends.
It was my favorite type of wedding day, chill and totally laid-back. All their family and friends helping pitch in to make their big day come to life and then partying long into the night.
Karin and Alex – Thank you for being the absolute sweetest couple to work with and letting me share in on such a special day!
