Jamie and Dean got married at the gorgeous Venue at the Grove this past Sunday!
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it a thousand times – Jamie and Dean have to be two of the nicest, kindest people I’ve met! The whole day they were constantly asking everyone ‘what do you need from me’. Yep, on their own wedding day! Both stayed true to their calm, easy-going demeanors and it made the whole day go super smooth.
The weather was absolutely gorgeous! Especially being an all outdoors wedding, they couldn’t have picked a better time of year because it is finally beautiful outside in Arizona!
Jamie and Dean brought in SO many really special and unique elements to their day to really make it their own. Especially for being what they call ‘a procrastinated wedding’ I could hardly believe that with the amount of and attention to detail they put in. From the escort cards in the shape of National Park signs to pay homage to their love of the outdoors and park to the personalized chopsticks and handmade pots for favors. They also did a beautiful job of blending their Native American and Chinese cultures.
There also also are some fun surprises throughout the day that Jamie planned to keep the day fun, and lighthearted – you will just have to scroll down to see those 😉
I loved that they kept everything so personal, even from their climbing engagement session which you can check out here: http://kailacales1jenniferwingate.com/2017/08/cathedral-rock-engagement-sedona/
Jamie and Dean – we seriously just LOVE you guys. I pinch myself that I get to work with amazing people like you two with the best hearts. Please don’t be strangers!!
Jamie really wanted to spice up her first look and a dinosaur costume was just the ticket! It was hysterical! Love a couple that doesn’t take life too serious!
And just when Dean thought the surprises were over.. dinosaur bridal party!!
How cool is this escort card table?? Jamie and Dean love national parks, in fact, if they were to have any other type of wedding it would be in the middle of Yosemite!
One of the many cool favors – pottery handmade by Native American artists!
Every table was named after a national park with these awesome signs!
Jamie and Dean had some Navajo dances perform some traditional dances through dinner – they were really impressive and a cool insight into the culture. Then donuts, cake, and even a take home treat for those with doggies! They really thought of their guests!
