Fall Wedding at The Paseo

Melissa and Brett got married at The Paseo in Apache Junction, Arizona.

The couple first met while living in the same apartment complex. The best man, Brandon, recalled in his toast how he was working at the complex and talked Brett into moving in when they both moved to Arizona. How he first met Melissa when her AC had malfunctioned and she was surrounded by a pool of water and the rest of was history!

The day flowed really smooth, no real hiccups! Melissa was super nervous and anxious before the first look and Brett was his normal, calm self (swearing he wasn’t going to cry, which he definitely teared up ;)) After they saw each other, they got an immediate sense of relief but were both still a little nervous about their custom vows they’d written for each other.

They had so many special touches throughout the day, from the custom, drawn portrait from one of their engagement session photos to the adorable custom cake topper with their signature phrase ‘To the moon and back’.

They even got lucky with the weather, it was mid 80’s with a slight breeze and absolutely perfect! It’s been so warm this fall, so they totally lucked out with some gorgeous Arizona fall weather!

Melissa and Brett have been planning this day for almost two years! They saved and really made their dream big day happen! Melissa says that one of the most memorable moments from planning was when they found their venue, The Paseo. She said they knew the instant they pulled up that it was the one!

Melissa and Brett – I am SO happy for you two and want to thank you so much for taking me on this journey with you! It was such a special day and I hope it was everything you dreamed of!
